He hates because Trump said he should. That's literally the only reason. If Trump came out tomorrow and said he was backing out of the race because he had terminal cancer and that RDS was the new savior of the Republican party, thethe would spend the next 48 hours spam posting how great RDS is.

There is no inbetween.

He didn't make any sort of statement about the usefulness of masks in that video. Nor did he imply it. He was pointing out in an elegant way, that jurisdictions REQUIRING (aka mandating) face masks after you have been vaccinated is dumb because it sends the message that the vaccine doesn't work. That doesn't mean he supports facemasks without a vaccine. The amount of mental gymnastics required to come to that conclusion is absurd.

The only semi-support of masking he ever did was to support the right of businesses to require masking, but he ALWAYS was against mask mandates.
