2024 Field

Likewise, it’s fantastic that you’ve taken over the role from leftists to bring every trump word to the forum to explain why he sucks.

I understand why you're frustrated. Defending Trump from the right is much more difficult than defending him from the left.

As we've seen, leftists are retarded, and their criticisms of Trunp are mostly always retarded and/delusional

My criticisms are based in reality.

You brought Wisconsin to the thread, I remind you that Trump takes credit for a pivotal election loss.

You tell me trumps 2nd term is going to be amazing. I post his exact words about how he wants nothing to do with a ruthless conservative agenda

It is what it is

Again - remember all these words when the agenda is pushed after he wins.

Looks like Biden is staying in which will end up saving the left a few seats in the house.

The bench is so pathetic they have no choice.

I actually agree wholeheartedly with this. The Democratic Party has nobody to blame for this but themselves. There are a few really impressive politicians in the party with electoral success and pretty high approval ratings. But Dems have been focused on being the party “saving Democracy” rather than giving voters a true vision of why they should actually be governing. That’s good to keep your base happy and be re-elected in your lightly contested partisan district/state, but it doesn’t win you support on a national level.

Would not be difficult for the democrats to bring together a winning coalition. I just see no way that they actually do it.

The way forward for any political group to hold power for a generation is very obvious:

1. Eliminate any and all forms of illegal migration
2. Stop foreign trade with countries that artificially depress market prices
3. Build domestic manufacturing to stimulate low skilled labor jobs
4. Stop the shenanigans that corporations do by outsourcing jobs to low wage countries or play games with bypassing trade laws using multiple stops along the way to mask true originating manufacturing countries
5. Speak to creation of families
6. End all gender dystopia nonsense

There are a few others if I gave it more than five minutes worth of thought but trump saw all these things and build a coalition that a previous Republican would have no chance of doing

The reason why this was never done before is because you have loser “muh principle” conservatives and delusional communists.

Even putting aside my own opinions, 1, 5 and 6 are not the political winners you imagine them to be and 2 sounds popular until consumers see the resulting prices for goods. What surprises me about 5 and 6 being part of your playbook is it seems at odds with the common criticism from the Right that the Left is too concerned with culture war nonsense.

5 is interesting though, because expanding benefits for families with children would be the most obvious way to encourage people to have more kids. I’m not sure how you ever win that point without expanding the social safety net.

These are all political winners to build a majority coalition

Trump failed to surpass Romney's share of the vote total in both of his elections. If he has his pulse on a policy agenda that is amazing popular, why do you think that is?

My only ask is you attempt to answer this without invoking that he was cheated in both elections

The great Mitt Romney! A principled conservative.

I’m curious to see what data would lead you to believe gender identity is a key topic for the average American or that opposing gender-affirming care is (and will be) a particularly popular strategy. The increased attention to the topic has led to some short-term gains for anti-trans sentiment, but studies show a strong correlation between personally knowing a trans person and supporting a variety of issues on the topic. As that number grows, I see this being the high point for opposition.

The Overton window is shifting in acceptance to where people are not as ashamed to say they think it’s ridiculous. Watch that continue to love over time.

Oh I agree. Romney sucks. I didn't vote for him.

My question was if trumps policy agenda was so popular as you outlined above, why did he fail to surpass Romney in votes?

He got more votes than Romney in both elections.

And strip away the useless third parties and he got a larger percentage than Romney did in 2016....

But hey man - You can continue to backtrack on what your true thoughts were on the 2020 election because TDS rotted your brain out.

It’s not, though. Opposing this and shunning kids who came out has been the status quo forever. Just because the base has become more emboldened doesn’t mean public opinion has shifted accordingly.

Kids are being manipulated to thinking they are something they are not.

The rate of increase is completeliy unnatural.
