I’m not going to argue with you about what’s right or wrong. We have fundamentally different views on this topic and there’s no value in rehashing it. But the polling does not suggest opposition to gender-affirming care is strong enough to become a politically necessary pillar as you’re suggesting.

Even today, his polling average is 47.5 in a *head to head* with Biden, compared to 47.2 that Romney got. Throw in the 3rd parties, and he's averaging 42.5

A third party with the last name of Kennedy is much different than a third party with the last name of Johnson. But of course you wouldn't undrestand such nuance.
You could certainly be right, but you don’t get to fully control a narrative like this. I could just as easily say the term deportation is more popular than “sending children to go live in destabilized nations” would be, but we both know that would be disingenuous to then claim supporting less restrictive immigration laws is a necessity politically.

23% more votes were cast in 2020 than 2012. Trump got 22% more votes than Romney
Just say it and you think 2020 was the safest and most secure election already.
Framing it in this way is just pathetic.
But lets look at 2016. Of those 6% more votes do you think they all came out for the L candidate or showed up for Trump and his policies?

An underrated reason why Biden will not be replaced is that its an impossible task for someone to win an election after the outright lies by the Democrats on Bidens health. Its a suicide mission and a ruining of their careers.

And 3rd party candidates got 1.7% of the vote in 2012. In 2016, they got 5.7% of the vote.
So to answer your question, there doesn't appear to be any evidence that these extra voters were motivated to show up to vote for Trump, which is why he got less of a share of the vote than Mitt Romney
