2024 Field

You don't even realize that you just asserted that Biden got 80M legal votes because you have no clue what you believe. Its just TDS brain vomit.

LOL. "I've just asserted!"

No what I did was look at the numbers that Biden needed to win the election. I then 4X them. That equals about 1M votes.

What number should I use instead?

Well we land here again. Where your argument is based on a delusion that never happened. And my argument is based on events that took place.

Mitt Romney's agenda received more support among 2012 voters than Donald Trump's agenda received among 2016 voters. This is indisputable. An objective truth. You are free to live in fantasy land, but I'm simply walking you through the data

He did not receive more voters. In a depressed election (End of obamas first term people jumped off his bandwagon and Romneys message was weak and uninteresting) Romney got a higher share. Overall he was less inspiring to Americans because his policies were ancient. Then 4 years later lots of his voters died.

Ok - how about along with the question voters are made aware of suicide rates in those that undergo 'gender afirming care' as opposed to those that don't?

Two things:

1) A lot of studies show either the opposite of what you’re claiming or a lack of change, rather than an increase:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10027312/

2) It would seem like these results could dramatically suffer from under-polling those in the camp of not receiving care, because closeted people who die by suicide without coming out wouldn’t be accounted for.

I really laugh when you claim what a math genius you are while insisting on working with raw numbers instead of percentages. You do understand that populations increase, right? You do understand that voting has been made easier over time, right? You do understand that Donald Trump inspires as much as opposition as he does support, right?

So again, for the super high IQ. The main 3rd party contender in 2012 was Gary Johnson. The main 3rd party contender in 2016 was Gary Johnson.

Here's what happened.

Mitt Romney got a high a higher percentage of support among the voters in 2012 than Donald Trump got in 2016. Put another way, Trump was less popular among the voters than Mitt Romney. Put another way, Trump and Hilary were so unpopular, that 3rd party candidates had their best election since Perot

The studies from my quick reading tracked only 1 year after surgery. Not quite the timeline needed to evaluate.

But now I shall duck out of the actual argument around this topic. Again, there’s nothing to be gained from us going back and forth on this. I stand behind the belief that this subject is too niche and complicated to be considered an election-defining issue.

Yes - republicans of yesteryear need low turnout to win elections. Because their message sucks. Do you think voting was going tog eat harder if Trump never ran?

For what it’s worth, I do agree with extensive studies tracking the well-being of these children. I might not share in the skepticism that they will be okay, but as with anything in the medical world, particularly in the complicated world of psychology, results should absolutely be monitored. Even if you take the view as I do that this is legitimate health care, medicine must always be looking forward and focusing on how that care affects the patient. I personally hope they find the results to be positive, as my only hope in all this is that people have the best lives they can.

low turnout, high turnout. it doesn't matter

if trump inspires 10 new voters to support him, while inspiring 11 new voters to oppose him, that is not evidence of popularity as you suggest.

The only Republican this century Trump has been more popular than is John McCain. Here are all of the presidential contenders who were more popular among the voters this century

GW Bush
Al Gore
GW Bush
John Kerry
Barack Obama
Barack Obama
Mitt Romney
Hilary Clinton
Joe Biden

That's 90% of them

To be fair, I think that’s a great answer to the question. I’m not sure I’d want to take Joe to task for saying this, even if he’s gotten in wrong in the past.

As someone who doesn’t believe democracy and the fate of our country is at stake if Trump wins, I also think it’s a fine answer.

I also believe that democracy will survive having a rapist back as president. But I choose not to be rapist and psychopath adjacent.

The New York legal system is going to get embarrassed when Trump goes through the appeals.

DC was just trounced by the SCOTUS which I said they would be with the **** they pulled.

Remarkable in a 1st world nation we have areas of our country where the legal systems behave like they would in a 3rd world nation.

What’s also remarkable is the people who cheer it on

OMG - Have any of you seen this ABC interview?

It’s not going to be easy to take Biden off the top of the ticket if he doesn't willfully leave but the calls for it are only going to grow.

It’s remarkable how far he’s fallen from his 2020 baseline. Trump is clearly in much better health. With that said, it’s a stark reminder of the risk of electing octogenarians.

It’s sort of silly that we have a minimum age requirement but not a maximum (not that I support either, but this really does show the arbitrary nature of it all).

Ringo turned 84 today.
Rupert Murdoch 93
Charles Koch 88

To the best of my knowledge, none ever " suggested" with a sharpie the redirection of a tropical storm.
Only one advocated living " in a Yellow Submarine "
