2024 Field

It isn't just on Trump either. Kamala has to defend her former liberal policies in CA, defend the current Administration that is one of the least popular on record, and try to explain how her new policy is different.

Americans are deeply unhappy with the current administration. She is part of that and she still DEFENDS the current administration. It's going to be hard to convince Americans it is going to be any different or get any better with her at the helm. Another point that Trump gets to hit her with, is that she has had 4 years to help implement policy changes and only now does she plan makes changes if she becomes POTUS? She has the influence to get things like no tax on tips on the floor for vote right now. Why isn't she doing it?

Don't forget she will have to explain to the American people why she lied about Bidens mental health for years.

I think it's safe to say that currently the race is very close. I would even say that Kamala may have a slight edge nationally. But the swing states are what matters most. Kamala is going to have to poll much better than she has been doing in order to win, imo.

Really? When will this happen?

Most people understand completely how age creeps up on people.

Oh sure - Biden was a mentally competant person till the debate with Trump.

Of course a ****ing idiot like you would think these things.

Fortunately, the American people know Biden has been a vegetable for years and Harris lied about it every time she was asked.

This will be the peak of Kamals polling throughout the cycle.

She is in a lot of trouble.

The entire administration and the entire Dem party said he was fine literally the same week of the debate. They deal with him on a daily basis, so you would think they would know.

Then the debate happens and they all magically change their minds....

Problem is us normal people have contend with ****ing retards like Runnin who will vote blindly for Harris.

It is what it is.

I think Trump finally got the message that the status quo wasn't working as hoped. I wish Corey would take over the campaign but he will be a senior advisor. [tw]1824424287308038471[/tw]

Meh - I get the argument that many have made on this but the 'not working' bit was sourced from polls which were temporary in nature.

Still love the changes though.

Tariffs are needed when markets are artificially manipulated.

That’s not the only example, man. We’ve hit a point of such extreme polarization that people don’t look at policies so much as they look at politicians. Another recent example was Harris getting on board with Trump’s tip tax proposal. I’d love to get to a point where more overlap existed between the parties. Right now voting (D) or (R) means voting on about 1,000 different positions and it’s largely binary.

The Overton window is indeed quite small

Nobody is going to buy it because she has a record in California and the Biden regime.

She’s never once been in a position to dictate policy though, and many voters will recognize that. Again, I actually agree with Barris (and presumably you) that these aren’t effective policies. But I think you’re looking at this from the perspective of someone who is somewhat plugged in to her electoral history and voting record. Most aren’t in that position.

Nobody will buy it especially as it appears two of hte most recent policy pronouncements were direct copies off of what Trump and team have stated.

The only thing this 'convergence' will do is reiterate to the population that Trumps policies are the right ones so I hope Kamala continues to do so.

Further, Kamala is on record talking about EQUITY (Not equality) and thats an easy thing to attack.
