2024 Field

Tariffs are needed when markets are artificially manipulated.

Wasn’t the point of that post at all…take another look:

However, in an experiment in which half of the survey respondents were told that Donald Trump imposed these tariffs, 65% of Democrats said they would oppose the tariffs, while 70% of those who identified as Republicans said they would support them. On the other hand, if told that Joe Biden imposed these tariffs, then 57 percent of Democrats would support the tariffs—a 22-point swing relative to the scenario where Trump imposed them. Meanwhile, Republican support declined by 19 points (51%) relative to the scenario where Trump imposed the tariffs.

Thats certainly a different issue I agree.

I wholeheatedly support tariffs as a method to stimulate domestic growth.

Head games time

I don’t see it being effective in that regard. By all means, Tulsi is a sharp politician and able debater, so I’m sure she’s a good support for Trump, but it’s much different to debate someone during a Primary vs. General Election and I don’t see Tulsi’s performance against Harris as particularly instructive for Trump.

While it wouldn’t shock me for people to stop rushing to Harris rallies, this appears to be intentional. It’s apparently an invite-only paid deal, and seems to be strategic for her economic address today.

It has to be invite only because if there is no concert and no ads for 'paid actors' she doesn't draw anything BECAUSE SHE ISN'T POULAR.

This is what happens when you just aggregate toplines and don't do the digging.

Not sharing for the zinger, but this speech was a good example of where I’ve thought Biden is at cognitively during the election cycle. He’s too old to be President still and lacks the mental stamina for it, but his brain isn’t quite tapioca yet.

I think you’re still putting too much faith in there being an inevitable full snap back to the pre-Harris results.

I'm jsut merely providing my opinions based on underlying cross tabs showing awful polling along with teh knowledge the media blitzed everyoen to forgetting who Harris was.

Democrats were depressed because of Biden and got an adrenaline shot that has already worn off. Harris is a terrible terrible candidate and she is going up against one of the most popular politicians of all time!!!

Yes - The polling will pick up right after the Convention because Harris WILL GET A BUMP.

Funny to say since the pandemic started but the real price increase came way after Trump was in office.

Yes, once the effect of the global supply chain restraints caught up with the increased demand from consumers emerging from their homes again.

Nope - The continued printing and restictions after 2020 was the biggest driver.

And of course a provoked war.

LOL at 'staying focussed'

Advice from people who would have zero chance of ever winning a national election.

Trump will win in a landslide because Trump is going to be Trump.
