Republicans who are asking why they keep losing elections are like
the guy who walks into the ER with a nail in his head,
asking why he has a headache.
A party led by a rapist that believes it can fix its problem with
women by attacking Taylor Swift,
with weird little creeps like Mike Johnson
as a public face in Congress, that has no serious policy,
that has decided to abandon decades of support
for freedom in Europe to back a genocidal dictator,
a party that is 85% white in a 59% white country,
a party that has decided higher education is a gateway
drug to Socialism,
that believes public health policy should be set by random
freaks on the internet and not doctors,
a party that is still fighting cultural wars of gender politics
the rest of America ended a decade ago,
a party that has replaced American optimism with anger
and fear of the future....
Is there really any question why this party is losing?
Honestly the part of the tweet that resonated the most with me was the “watered-down leftist economic ideas.”
I do think MAGA’s embrace of anti-intellectualism in general probably turns off a lot of college educated voters.
This has to be a parody. Someone in Pelosi's party calling Johnson creepy? The party of BLM and gender studies criticizing someone for lack of optimism or fighting culture wars? The voters for open borders calling someone a rapist?
That account is either trolling its followers or itself.
I'm not very familiar with Hugh Hewitt, but he breaks the VP decision down fairly accurately here. I agree with his suggestion, even though I would prefer Pompeo be the guy.

He's already worked with Trump effectively. He's not a clown. He's ran the CIA so he knows about the "deep state" and how to fight it, along with where a lot of the bodies are buried. His Secretary of State record was excellent.
Basically he is the only option I see with lots of positives and no negatives. The biggest criticism seems to be that he is a white man, by people decrying racial and gender politics.
Is it anti-intellectualism, or anti college/credentialism? I'm not as plugged in as I used to be but it at least started as the latter.

Yesterday he was asking for your money in a love letter to Melania.
Today he’s at a trial hearing for paying hush money
to a porn star while Melania was expecting his 5th child.
yeah, that's y'alls guy
