The only scenario that would piss me off is if the election is stolen through shenanigans. Whoever wins needs to be President. Either side losing and overturning the results via shenanigans is an act of war. I have zero fear the Democrats will put party over country and try to do that. I am very worried Republicans will not do the same. I would rather Trump win a 50 state landslide than to go that route. If you think the country is bad now if we have an unelected Trump as President all hell will break loose. Almost literally anyone else would put the country first. Trump will put Trump first.

I am actually very comfortable with Vance. I wouldnt vote for him because he wants to use the government to weaponize his religious views and he says he wouldnt do his patriotic duty to put country before party if faced with election results he doesnt like. TX isn't remotely close to flipping blue. Texas is currently polling with nearly a 7 point lead for Trump., You are outside of your mind if you think TX is closer to flipping than VA.

Biden won Virginia by 550k votes in 2020. Trump won Texas by 630k votes in 2020. Texas has more than twice the number of voters as Virginia. The lead in Virginia has been getting bigger while the margin for victory in Texas has been shrinking. I dont know how else to take that. We will get another data point in November to reevaluate but I dont see how you could say Virginia is closer to flipping when the leads growing and Texas isnt when the lead is shrinking. Republicans are going to be in a weird situation after 2024 where they have no chance in Viriginia if they nominate another bat**** crazy MAGA person but if they nominate a sane person they probably could win VA but the MAGA people will sabotage that sane Republican candidate so that option isnt gonna work either.

Care to wager on the VA and TX margins? Because I guarantee VA is substantially closer and Trump wins TX by at least 2 points better than he did in 2020.
