I have different views about those four. All have their flaws, like anyone else. But for me Tim Scott >>> Hawley. With the other two somewhere in between.

I will also say ALL FOUR are vast improvements over very poorly chosen one. Not one comes close to his malign incompetence and criminality. Not one has the kind of pathological personality disorder that made very poorly chosen one such a dangerous person to have in the oval office. If the GOP nominated one of those we can go back to having normal and healthy policy disagreements without thinking that the other side has lost its collective mind. Ditto for Pence and Haley and anyone else who might be nominated.

One more thing. In my view what Hawley and Cruz did on January 6 was awful and disqualifying. But not nearly as awful as what very poorly chosen has done throughout his presidency. So while I hope the GOP will not turn to one of those two, they would still represent a massive improvement over very poorly chosen one.

The government is paying for abortions again, gun rights will be curbed and some form of court packing will happen once Sinema and Manchin cave, the Dems have fully embraced intersectionality points and CRT, we'll see a big college loan giveaway, non-discretionary goods prices like gas and groceries are going to continue to skyrocket... it's a perfect storm to get those voters out. If Pubs can't clean house in that environment then it's all over and we need to look for a freedom loving place in South America.

If we were a country of people who make rational voting decisions based on policy alone I would say DeSantis or Cotton are my clear preferences. We're not, so I'll move Tim Scott up to even or just ahead of them. I think Scott winning as a Republican would be the best outcome for the political environment, DeSantis would be the best President, Cotton would have the best policy. Again, just talking about from my perspective.

Scott, Haley, Rubio, DeSantis, Pence, Cotton are all ok with me. I like some more than others, but they are rational people who will try their best for the country. It's kind of a low bar. But they all meet it.

That special election has to scare the crap out of the democrats. 2022 is going to be a bloodbath.

There is no GOP without trump or someone that fully embraces the frame work of his administrations policy agenda. That is what the country wants and now with more attention paid to voting integrity all of a sudden democrat participation will plummet.

Dems see the general population as too dumb to take care of themselves, and they see blacks as even dumber than the general population.
 
Working class blacks and Hispanics are catching on. The GOP revolution away from losers like Romney who would sell every single American job out to an overseas sweatshop is almost complete. Those traditional GOPers can’t win a single primary where an America first candidate is running.

The American reset away from the global reset will be initiated soon.

Maybe Trump will hit that elusive 47% of the vote this time...... for the first time....Trump is like a wildcard team that won the world series but only won 80 games in the regular season.

A web search for news articles from the past six months with the phrase "Trumpism without Trump" would benefit your knowledge level.
 
Trumpism without the corruption and rampant narcissism certainly has a political future. And by Trumpisim I mean America first ideology because Trump has no principles he really just threw **** against the wall and read the crowd to see what was popular.
