the context of that snippet is that he was asked his thoughts on Trump endorsing him and his answer was saying basically trying to make it not look so bad that Trump hadn't been involved at all, saying he doesn't believe he needs a trump endorsement in order to win (which is what any rational person running in a race should say)
I would advise stop following Alex. He's a fraud, a liar, and a failure. Trump's money to him was lit on fire... more poor judgement
