That’s a huge jump. Baldwin is a legit prospect and shouldn’t be traded at all unless it’s a big return coming back.
Not sure a backup catcher is the best use of that capital.

Time-share catcher. And then I’m sure he’d see plenty of DH PAs in 2026, when Ozuna is presumably gone.
How often did Snit DH D'Arnaud? I'm not sure, I lost the Braves broadcast into the season over the ABC holdout.

Adam Maker’s stats don’t look too good in the AFL, but he’s 3rd in average RPM on his curve that’s becoming more like a sweeper.
He was a 2 sport athlete and
barely pitched before we drafted him
recently recovered from an injury.
That’s a profile of a possible top SP prospect right up the Braves ally.
He pitched better in Rome than Augusta after the promotion. The stats say he’s hittable, but health permitting he could be a guy to watch next season
I read the spin-rate article and Maier's spin-rate is impressive, but the Braves have to make a roster decision on him after the 2025 season. He's likely slated for the Braves' AA team, so there may be enough data on him to make that decision. There's no question he's intriguing, but he didn't throw a professional pitch for almost two years after he was drafted. Given that, he has to be given somewhat of a break because 2024 was his first professional season. His performance has been atrocious in Arizona, but that sometimes doesn't mean much.
