2025-2026 offseason thread

I feel like we should be pretty satisfied if the worst player in the opening day lineup is Dubs at SS making $6M.

Of course, as the position players currently stand AA could add Tromp to the roster, stick Baldwin at DH, and pretty much accomplish exactly that. I think we should be prepared for no other everyday position players to be acquired.

I would be pretty shocked if we don't add another good position player.

I think he will for sure. He saw how versatile the Blue Jays and Dodgers were and there's where Dubon fits in. He won't be the starting SS.
 
I hope you’re right.
I think this is the most logical approach to take as a fan. They SHOULD have the money and prosect capital to feel every need, but we will believe it when we see it. They've not shown the willingness to go out and fill the holes needed to create an elite roster in a few years now.
 
He wouldn't have spent 22 million on the 2 he did if he only had 20 million left. I'd guess he has closer to 35-40 left to spend.
