Stankees have been quiet this offseason or am I not paying attention enough.
Finally, after two decades, Schuerholz’s alt has been unmasked.the economics of baseball.
Finally, after two decades, Schuerholz’s alt has final been unmasked.
You gave us all the clues, Mr. Policeman.
As Schuerholz told ESPN, "The economics in baseball stink. The economics stink, and if this isn't a clear enough signal to the doubters and naysayers, to be forced to trade an 18-game winner to your arch enemy ... The economics stink."
After seeing the contracts for guys like Tucker, Bichette and Belli, I have to give AA more credit than I originally did for assessing the inflated FA market and getting Dubon, Kim and Yaz for the contracts they signed.

Barely above minimum.Almost average
I think Tucker’s deal blew the normal scale of what’s an “overpay” out of the water.I didn't think Bellinger would get over 30 million. He's only had 2 good seasons really in the past 6 years. The Yanks needed him the most so they had to overpay.
So a C+?
Heyman responded underneath the post and said those are predictions lol
Are you that high on Bassitt? Or just see the need and believe he fits that fairly well given he will only cost money?Signing Bassitt to something less than the Kelly deal gets AA to a very solid B.
A Peralta trade can get him anywhere from a C to a B+ depending on the cost.
The Weiss hire was so bad there’s no way he gets above that without doing something like Nacho for Peralta.
