2025 Around The League Thread

Very similar play happened yesterday to that Roden kid (one who homered off Schwelly) in Toronto except he ran into HUGE Rowdy Tellez. Roden actually stayed in the game though.

man.. just looking at games today.. Nola 0-4 with a 6.6 ERA.. wouldn't have guessed that.
I would have. Knew when he signed that contract the Philly would regret it quickly. While he is still posting strong K numbers, he has a 4.07 ERA since the start of 2021.

Yeah the Braves look like they may have dodged a bullet there

I would love to see the Braves medical and decision staff at work..

They walked from Hudson because he failed physical (must not have been juicing enough) -- killing it
slow played Scott deal after medicals and he walked... killing it
granted Canning FA because they didn't want to block Anderson/Elder/Holmes... Killing it
Signed Profar.. loved the amount of juicing he was currently involved in
strider strains a hammy stepping on a spider.

Are we really upset about a 29 year old with a career ERA close to 5 that's had a good start to the season?
When he was a former top 100 prospect and spent his entire career with one of the worst organizations in history at developing pitchers and we cut him for the likes of Ian Anderson and Bryce Elder? He’s also shown plenty of flashes in the past. So yeah.

We needed depth and we’ve been buying every piece of trash off the heap hoping we may hit big on another one… yet we already had Canning… a better option than pretty much all the trash we have acquired since.
