Agreed. Now that we have the universal DH and interleague play, the AL and NL terminology have pretty much become irrelevant. I would prefer not having to make a West Coast trip multiple times a year. Stay about 2 weeks every season, play 4 teams. Fly back home and don't go back unless you make the WS.

Not sure why you’re nitpicking so much. He was a mid-3 ERA pitcher *last year*. He’s gone up and down on his ERA being better than his FIP and for his career it’s 3.78 and 3.50 respectively…which is pretty close. Short of a current catastrophic arm problem, it’s hardly unreasonable for him to be what he’s roughly been his entire career. He’s always been up and down ERA-wise, likely due to just how costly each home run ends up being, and that will continue. I could see him being the pitcher he was *last year* (or slightly worse) for the length of the contract…that’s all I said…to act as if it’s not possible is wrong.

My guy, I was razzing you because Nola got blew up. Again. After you had little tizzy earlier in the year because people me and couple other people said he was done. And he's clearly done.

That's all it is. Calm down. We all have some bad takes.
