So he can do more damage to our stars?I thought we should fire Snit but I think that would letting him off to easy. Let him finish managing this disaster to taint his legacy even more and then can him as soon as the season ends.

I mean those should be the easy, bare minimum moves.. But he really should be unloading a few more pen guys as well (Bummer for money) and letting some of the farm fill in the rest.. sort of need to see what internal options he has to deal with next year to avoid all the dumpster dives like he did this year.Just stop. Ozuna is gonna get moved for a couple of 40 FV guys and Iggy will be traded within the last hour of the deadline for a 40 FV or lottery card type prospect.

Bummer can be replaced by basically any FA reliever for cheaper.Who else should be moved? Johnson? He's actually a good reliever and will help the team next year. Bummer less so but I feel he would be better with a better manager. Not sure what some people are expecting here. The Braves aren't in rebuild mode and selling off everything of use. The team is going to try and contend in 2026 and anybody here that's usefull and signed for 2026 has a great chance of staying.

Not a bad return, considering the obvious primarily goal of shedding Hayes’ future financial obligations.
If that's the case why would anyone trade for him now?Bummer can be replaced by basically any FA reliever for cheaper.
because the Braves can pay his salary this year and the team acquiring him doesn't want to wait until the offseason to improve the pen at no cost.If that's the case why would anyone trade for him now?
Count me among the people who agree it makes no sense to trade anyone signed for 2026 other than Murphy, and he only makes sense in a very small set of scenarios that likely don't exist right now.
RPs are in pretty high demand and some teams don't have the payroll to add some of the better relievers. Bummer would not cost much in prospect capital to acquire and we likely would pay his remaining 2025 salary. If that's the case why would anyone trade for him now?

To show my mastery of baseball knowledge, I was disappointed when Hayes was off the board 9 picks before the Braves' drafted Austin Riley. Hayes has just never learned to hit. Negative O Bwar the past two years. Defensive wizard with a balsa wood bat.I had no idea Hayes had been so bad offensively the last couple years. .236/.279/.290 this year after .233/.283/.290 last year. WAR still likes him, presumably because of his defense, but still...woof.
Man, I really like Rogers, but this seems like WAY too much at first glance.
