Been discussed and the consensus seems to be: bullshitApologies if this has been posted already, but there's probably a lot of truth here. Still, so frustrating:

There are a few of us--like Henry the Fifth's Band of Brothers--who have been more balanced than some of the over-the-top Anthopoulos defenders who seem to blame everyone above him and below him for when things come up short. Add to that, I think there was more than one of the group (and I was one) that thought Anthopoulos was going to little, if anything, at the deadline. I'm fine hold onto Pierce Johnson (who probably would have had the strongest market), but there's no excuse for not moving Ozuna and Iglesias unless Anthopoulos is convinced the Braves are still in the race and he may be. But if either of those guys is back in 2026, there are some screws loose in the management framework. He speaks about being respectful to these players and it not being fair.....
Overlooking the fact that these guys are professionals and they are paid to deal with it, that is rich coming from AA.
This is coming from the same guy that DFA'd Culberson right before Father's day when his dad was supposed to throw out the first pitch.
This is the same guy that flew franchise icon Craig Kimbrel out to CA to pitch 1 game, in which he gave up zero runs, and then cut him a day later.
And he wants to talk about being fair and respectful?
AA can, not respectfully, go eat a big ole bag of dicks.
If AA is convinced the Braves are still in the race, then he definitely shouldn’t be fired. He should be fitted out in a straight jacket and taken away. There are a few of us--like Henry the Fifth's Band of Brothers--who have been more balanced than some of the over-the-top Anthopoulos defenders who seem to blame everyone above him and below him for when things come up short. Old school thinking was afoot at the deadline, even if it wasn't Snitker's one-room-school variety and I agree that the answers here are textbook PR blather. What is more troubling to me--and none of us will ever know if this is true or not--are reports that the Braves didn't even engage in conversations with other teams regarding possible deals. That would be malfeasance of the highest order.
That dude looks stressed as fuck. And he’s lost a ton of weight.AA speaks:
If there's one thing I've learned for my teams is skinny coach (maybe GM too) isn't a good thing. Fat Dan Mullen > skinny Dan Mullen and fat Sean Payton > skinny Sean. Think you want your coach (and maybe GM) spending too many hours in the office eating fast food, not out jogging and suchThat dude looks stressed as fuck. And he’s lost a ton of weight.

Even his wife thinks he’s lost it.Skinny means they are about to get divorced
Fat means happy at home
