I just wonder if there isn't enough data on Murphy or something. The k numbers thru his whole career and yesterday all show swing and miss. I realize he wasn't facing an mlb team, but something seems amiss.

I won't post data about how Lopez was throwing, but his 91.5 fastball was the slowest thrown by any pitcher in the game that day.

Hopefully he starts "airing it out" soon.

First time seeing the challenge system. I like it. With it being that quick there is no reason it shouldn't be full robo ump there.

Doubt he makes it through the season. He jumped like 8 mph in velocity his sophomore to junior year, so he's on borrowed time. No one escapes unscathed

That's been my argument since I saw it in AAA games live. If the system is allowed to overrule an ump, just let the system call them all. Further, just let the players make all calls on the field, and go to replay if there are disputes.

There's literally no need for umpires anymore, and I'd like to see those clowns completely removed from the game.

This ump has missed 3 calls in a single inning. Just get rid of umps already. They bring absolutely nothing to the game any longer.
