I'm mostly looking forward to the stats telling us which umps are terrible, and which batters do the best job challenging the terrible umps.

There will be a stat measuring runs added by successful challenges, and it will be a real player skill.

I thought about this as well.. also wonder if managers should give free reign to guys who prove to have great eyes and restrictions to guys who clearly have no clue as those details become more known..

Whether Manfred wants robot umps are not is irrelevant. The mlbpa has to approve it as well. And most didn't think this even had a chance a year ago.

I mostly know that.. the umpire's union is also a factor.. but I am not a fan of ManDick and thus he will always catch my rath.

I think the Players will be on board after this year for sure.

This was a fairly encouraging start for Elder. Creating more separation on his pitches is going to help him sequence better.

Also, the sinker is dropping and getting more run

FA and SL shape are noticeably different.
