1. Teheran has a strong 2nd half.

2. Swanson ends up over .700 ops

3. Albies hits over .300 in Atlanta

Teheran is traded for a surprisingly good return.

Adams is kept, Freddie to 3B is a disaster.

Swanson's numbers end up being solid.

The team sputters home and Snitker is fired.

I don't see snitker being fired. I can definetely see him not being resigned though
 
I am a posi-braves so take this as optimistic..

- Swanson keeps doing what he is doing and end the year around .250-
- Freeman keeps going like he has (should be MVP but will not be)
- Albies and Acuna are both brought up before September
- Folty looks special but Tehran doesn't
- Braves are exciting but end up just shy of .500 record (kind of like now)
- A lot of hope for 2018

Yup, and he only got down to .871 by then. You should have agreed to the bet. I tried to give you an easy one to knock out of the park.

It's funny these bets you are agreeing to though. You claim Kemp is good, yet the bet was that he wouldn't clear a terrible WAR value of 1. You claim Adams is good, yet the bet is that his OPS won't plummet past .850 in a short period of time.

If these are the bets you agree to, you've already proven yourself wrong about how good these players are haha.

Little time off is gonna put the "v" back in kemp's name. No way he gets to 1.0 though... FO/snit ruined that by not putting him on DL. I'm just banking on Adams running out the clock if you will; I think he finishes the year somewhere between .800 and .850
 
Braves finish 5 over .500

Garcia, Julio, and Adams are delt

There will be a buy for the future move of some sort

Medlen takes a spot in rotation and will be next years veteran presence
 
Go ahead and laugh Mr. Know it all. I forgot you are really Coppy in disguise. When they finish over .500, I am not going to let you forget it all winter.
 
I wish I would have predicted at the beginning of year that the Braves would be only a half game behind the Cubs at the All Star break.

My predictions;

1. Braves finish 2nd in the NL east despite trading two of their current starting pitchers.

2. Coppy doesn't trade Adams. Adams sucks for two months to end the season.

3. Adonis and Jace disappear in Sept and are never seen in a Braves uniform again.

4. Albies gets a cup of coffee in Atlanta.

5. Markakis continues to hit but his defense makes him unplayable in RF

6. Kemp gets hot and hits 18 more hr before the end of the year but his defense makes him unplayable.

7. Phillips doesn't get traded and is resigned to provide a bridge to Albies next year.

8. Ender ends the season with a wRC+ of 102 and the best CF defensive war.

9. Acuna get a cup of coffee in Atlanta and becomes what we all dreamed JHey would be.
