At a certain point AA is going to have to bite the bullet at either LF or 2B and just call up Grissom.
Its silly that he is in AAA at this point.

I don't think that was a hit at Murphy, but a hit at using our best prospect to fill a position that we already had 2 good players at. WC is doing just fine offensively and defensively as a Brewer. Murphy is doing just fine as a Brave. The hate was the trade not the player. We really need some bats (LF/DH).. Heck, we really need pitching.. both those things could have been addressed by keeping Muller. instead we gave away assets for what appears to be a latteral move right now.
Braves are going to win a lot regardless. When the playoff push starts Grissom will be on the team.
The Braves are doing that inspite of those 2. although, I agree, just bite the bullet and accept sunk cost.

If in your mind you think the Braves will just jettison Ozzie for Grissom, I don't know what to tell you. I say this knowing Ozzie is not pulling his weight.

Your Chris Taylor idea was correct. Start Grissom 4/5 games a week between ss, 2b, and lf
You can't just drop Albies but maybe you strategically use him against left handed pitching and once a week against righties.
He is DREADFUL against right handed pitching and isn't enough of a plus defensively to justify that dead weight.
yeah, but you give a guy like Ozzie a bit of a longer leash before doing anything drastic with him. He has history of being a really good player and he didn't just forget how to play. He needs to continue to work on his swing to get back to his old self.

2022-23:
Ozzie .680 ops
Ozuna .676 ops
Both have been horrible. It's ok to criticize both when the bat is the same

did you just compare the 300 plate appearances around major injuries of a 26 year old player to the 550 plate appearances of a 32 domestic abuser?
Its much worse when you use splits.
Night and day hitters.
Probably because he’s never seen breaking ball from that side. It’s the same reason you can have someone like Jonny Gomes that smashes LHP but barely make contact vs RHP.Guy needs to suck it up and just hit righty - I wonder if the organization has tried to do this on backfields and it’s looked awful. I just don't get why this hasn't been done yet. He is becoming an AWFUL lefthanded hitter.
