Fredi: "Bullsh-t, I wanted Wandy and they gave me a fat ass airhead instead. I'm the only fat ass airhead allowed on this team!"

Chip does give counterpoints to Joe, but they're like rhetorical you-already-know-the-answer counterpoints. They're like the worst and most obvious answers.
"Well Joe what about this, should _______ do this?"
"Yeah I think so".
So has Young spent his Hot Spring Training coupon yet, or is it still good for a while yet?
"He's just 20 years old."
I'm honestly okay with Chip. He's a weird guy, but he's our weird guy. Joe is awful. And he comes across this year as being bitter that the Braves didn't field a team full of "go the other way" guys. It's nauseating.
I love our radio crew though. Jim Powell is tremendous and Don is fun to listen to. Television viewers deserve that combo over Chip/Joe.

It's funny, but I couldn't disagree more. I listened to the radio broadcast for a few innings two nights ago when I was running and between Don Sutton's odd nasal breathing sounds, slow and disjointed game-calling (I could literally hear the umpires making the calls atleast 4-6 seconds before he spit it out, Powell had to help him out explaining things several times), and bizarre digressions, I could barely wait to get home to flip back on the TV and listen to Tom Glavine parrot everything Chip and Joe say. That, and while I like Jim Powell's play-by-play, he can be seriously over the top sometimes.
I used to like Sutton when he was on TBS, but he's always been my least favorite of the crew.
This is my favorite Chip Caray call of all-time. He was clearly working his way up Powder River that night.
