There is no reason to make room for Albies this season. If Phillips is playing anywhere near average there is nothing wrong with Albies spending the entire year in AAA and be rewarded with a Sept call up. Nobody is going to offer anything of value for Phillips...which is why the Braves got him for nothing.

Folks need to get it out of their head that this season means anything.

I think that is a silly statement about value and Phillips. Demerite may never be anything but we got him for a lot less than a good Phillips. A vet bat without a lot of financial commitment could get us something
