It is impressive, plus I had a hard time with that ump calling his hit a few games back a catch too. It wasn't even that close, no replay in AAA though. Then again that Toronto game showed again even with replay they can screw up a call.

It's been two weeks. Those rates will stabilize over the course of the season. He has swubg at 34% of pitches outside the zone compared to 33% for his career.

What's his Z-Contact% vs his career?

And my point precisely is that he has looked like that so far this season. I didn't say he would continue that way, but I think his approach sucks ass so far.

Stults did much better tonight, no homeruns allowed which has long been an issue for him. I wouldn't bet on it continuing much but tonight he did the job.
 
Oh come on, Peterson cannot buy a break between Fredi and now this. Lagares is the best defensive CFer in the game. Highway robbery of maybe a triple there.
 
If we're still making Harang jokes in 2017 we're doomed. Hopefully some hot shot on the farm can come up big.
