What happened to this team not being able to score any runs? How are we doing this without with the mighty homerun hitters!
We are really blistering King Felix out there.

Yeah, I know. I was making a joke about Markakis' weak as grounders.
If the Nats are this bad the question should be, "what happened to last year's team having no shot at the playoffs"
Or "Look what having a keith law rated top 50 pitching prospect gets you......Cole letting the braves bat around in the second."
I believe the Mets are in the start of a long run at the top of the NL. At least one of the teams. Our pitching isn't on that level yet and they will have crazy amounts of money to spend soon.

If the Mets win the division it will be due to the Nats struggling and us rebuilding more than them being that good.
Agree to disagree. I think hte Mets are loaded with young talent throughout the organization including the major league level.
That may be, but I'm not sure they're as good as their record now and likely at the season will indicate. If the Nats really are this bad and, of course, with us being in rebuild mode, the division right now may just be flatout bad 2-5.Agree to disagree. IIRC Mets have a higher rated farm system than us too.....
maybe we should just quit.

Right plus the Mets lost Wheeler, Wright, key bullpen arms. That might not kill them now but if we weren't rebuilding and if Nats and others not struggling so bad it would. In other words, they'd be more at least year away as expected in that case.
