4th of July

What does the left think of this holiday these days?

I mean, the revolution happened because of too high taxes.

They used guns to protest

They were insurecctionists

Do leftists in 2023 think independence day was a good thing?

I abhor displays celebrating nationalism/militarism.
Flag waving
Hate the national anthem before ball games and cringe at flyovers by fighter jets.

Unlike some of my friends on the right I firmly believe America IS a great country. It has its imperfections. But has no need to be made great again. Of course, we should all want to make it even better. And I won't hold the use of slogans suggesting American needs to be made great again as an indication that the users of said slogans are any less patriotic than the rest of us.

Cool but that's not what I asked.

I asked if you support the American independence?

Low taxes

Guns

Insurrection

Yay or nay?

Do you support the cause?

Taxes were too high.

Guns were good

Insurrection was necessary

Whatsayyou academic?

Rishi is alright. But we narrowly averted Boris and Liz. We should be grateful for that.

My daughter likes living and working in London. I'll file a more complete report next time I visit her.

British humor is an acquired taste. I don't think y'all could handle it.

It's funny to me that today's left - nsacpi and 57 - would command that George Washington and tomas Jefferson were insurrectionists. They bow to the king. Cute but pathetic

Well. A few of us think no one should be above the law.

Another faction (known as the rapid response team) seem to want a king who can rule without regard to following the law.

y'all's mileage may vary

What's funny is today's leftists will refuse to support the revolution. They've been overtaken by communism.

The proof is in this thread. Not a single leftist will celebrate the founding of this country.

It would be blasphemous.

They can prove me wrong... but they won't. So far nsacpi has fallen in line like the little commie cuck bitch he is. Not a surprise of course.

57 too

Any other leftist willing to celebrate our founding?

Since when did we start supporting Biden?

July 4th is a great American holiday.

Not only does it recall something to be proud of in U.S. history, but one is also free to celebrate it in whatever way one chooses.
