5/16/15 Braves @ Marlins

If I were Miami, I'd try to line up Dan Haren to pitch against the Braves in every series. The Braves have had good luck vs. Latos. The Braves have never been able to hit Haren it seems.

Maybin, Cunningham and the Goose making a good case to be in there everyday.

I feel like Maybin pretty much is a regular now. The other two without a doubt should be. Cunningham over Gomes and we'll see once KJ is back. Goose > Callaspo

I surprisingly like them, but they really do just slobber all over this team.

I get that Cliff Floyd played for the Marlins and the Mets so it's in his DNA to be anti-Brave. That said, this is a national telecast so he needs to put those personal biases aside.

Baseball is so weird. This collection of misfits is a better offensive team than last year. So strange.

What "anti-Braves" thing has he said during the telecast?

I think Floyd has been great.

Agreed. No problems with the braodcast team. I think a lot of our fans are used to listening to Brave guys so they just aren't sure what neutral broadcasting is.

Start with "the Marlins should just beat teams like the Braves" plus the slobbering over not only Stanton but numerous Marlins players. IMO his commentary has been far from even-handed.

That's probably why Fox hasn't used the Braves' announcers on a national broadcast.

I came up to where I am as a Sports Journalist and biased opinions took me forever to learn. I've always been incredibly passionate and biased. I love my Braves, but there is a lot less intensity than I once had. I'm more statistically driven than ever before.
