He's only played 3 games at AAA. In those 3 games he's 3 for 6 with 6 walks. 1 hit was a 2B, the other a HR.
I feel like even if Acuna can only play every other day he should be playing those games at the MLB level. The Stripers don't need a 1.300 OPS bat leading off while the Braves watch Eli White and Verdugo bat leadoff. There is no possible way Acuna doesn't improve this team today, even on a limited basis.

this was the same for Strider.. how is Acuna playing around in AAA helping him any more than playing around with the MLB team.. like you said, even if it is every other day for the next month, it is better for this team. And I don't buy the timing crap either.. you are going to tell me that swinging at a bunch of average to below average pitches will get you more ready to swing at MLB quality pitches versus just coming up and seeing MLB quality pitches from the get go.

Nicky Lopez was released. Would he be Allen-lite? Or a rich man's Allen.
Neither. Not even sure he’s better than Arcia at this point.

I'm not sure. If Sale, Strider and Schwellenbach are pitching well seems likely their money will be better spent in the pen, at SS, or OF.
