5/26 GDT: braves go for longest winning streak of year facing Phillies

And you continue to miss the point.

"Hoping for a hot streak" from a guy who you KNOW is going to strike out 40-50% of the time against advanced pitching is nuts. Waters' average, OBP, BABIP, and hard-hit rate will ALL go down significantly when he's exposed to better Pitchers. You'd be better off calling Tucker or Dickerson up and hope for a hot streak from them (and Tucker could at least play RF when Acuna's out of the lineup) - they've at least SEEN pitching at this level before.

If you're going to call someone up to loosely platoon with Duvall in CF, you might as well have Harris skip AAA altogether - he'll at least make contact.

And you continue to miss the point, TD is already the trash that you think waters will be. And bringing up Harris to platoon is a bad idea. He's a real prospect

Xwoba for the 3 guys I'm complaining about...
TD - .262
Heredia - .243
Duvall - .287

For reference, pache is .290

The OF is total trash. Waters certainly could be more trash, but sticking with trash is no better option than trying someone else

Of course it is. Every option that has been discussed is a bad idea at at present. That's why you just have to hope Acuna can play more often (even if it's just as a DH) and that the other guys play a little better. Replacing Demeritte with Waters/Harris/Tucker/Dickerson A.) doesn't make you better or B.) screws with Harris' development.

Unless Alex can stumble on someone giving away another OF they don't want to pay that comes in and overperforms, we're just going to have to play who we've got until Harris is ready.
