5/26 - trying to avoid being swept by a horrible pirates team

Knee injuries make me nauseous so I don’t want to rewind to see what happened to Acuna. Can someone explain? If he got hurt trying to do something useless on the bases I may throw my phone through the tv.

We somehow managed to have both the Aybar brothers--Willy and Erick--in a Braves' uniform for less than stellar results. I didn't realize that Wander Franco is the Aybar brothers' nephew.

Braves also get Danys Baez in the Aybar/Betemit deal, but it didn't turn out well for him in Atlanta either. Baez is another in a long line of guys who the Devil Rays sprinkled pixie dust on and elevated their game enough so that other teams would be tempted.

Pure stupidity. Inexcusably stupid management of the most valuable Braves player since Aaron.
 
Stand there, hit the ball 110 mph, and run the bases conservatively. That’s how Acuna will provide maximum value to this organization.

Anyone who can’t understand that very simple logic has no business being employed by an MLB team.

We got him from the Dodgers though. He was with the Rays well before that when they were terrible.

He basically faked like he was running to third as the catcher was throwing ball back to pitcher, and tried to reverse motion quickly and crumpled

So…something stupid on the bases.

Is there a single adult in the Braves dugout who can explain basic baseball logic to morons like Acuna?
