6/5 GDT - dbacks game 3. Now or never for the 2025 Braves

Maybe, just maybe, they can get on the plane, drink a bunch of beer, play a bunch of cards and realize they actually don’t suck….

Last time one of my teams drank on the team plane they went into the tank and haven’t recovered since.

I think the Braves trade Sean in the off-season. There's just no reason to have two top-5 catchers. They could split them at DH, but re-signing Ozuna, trading Murphy for a top-100 prospect and then letting Baldwin take over makes too much sense. Either way, we are so fortunate in that regard.

Struck out the side! Are you serious, braves? This isn't how I wanna finish this game. Keep having good PA

Don't wait. Do it at the deadline. The return will be better. This team isn't going to the playoffs. Accept it and look towards 2026.

If we don't get any better, he might be gone at the deadline.

Also, I doubt we get a top 100 prospect for him with his contract. He should bring a decent haul, but a 30 year old catcher with 4/60 left on his deal just isn't going to drive a huge a market. Saying that, I could see the Astros, or maybe the Giants willing to give up a couple of top 10 prospects for him.

Damn boys now we have to get Iglesias in there. Stupid. 10 runs and we are still trying to blow it. If they blow this AA needs to personally walk down to the dugout and fire Snit on the spot.

I think he commands more than you think. Elite catchers, which he is, are incredibly hard to get. In general, I agree with you but a catcher is different than every other position. A contender would go all-in on him.
