6/6/15: GDT - Pittsburgh Pirates @ Atlanta Braves (Uribe at 2B)

It's funny to think that the Kimbrel deal requires us to take Maybin.

If Wisler is any good we can probably point to that trade more than the other 3 as the one that really accelerated the process. So much inefficient cash was moved. Great move.

It's gonna happen. Teheran made some good pitches in that at bat until he left that slider up. Just keep making pitches.

JT actually looks more himself tonight, he's pitched fine minus the hanging slider that went for a two run homer.

A big part of the reason I make it a point to typically avoid game threads - how long before the folks bitching about CJ, Gomes, and Uribe are in the lineup at the same time realize Jeff Locke is a LHP? Why on earth would *umbass Fredi load up on lefty-mashers when there's a LHP on the mound???

Just sayin'.

Johnson and Gomes are bad players, overall, but—given the current makeup of the roster—at least one of them should be in the lineup against LHPs, for sure.

Bad pitch to Bethancourt who showed he'd chase, good job not missing it by Bethancourt. Plus great job by Gomes setting up that run.

I am still trying to figure out who in this thread was "bitching" about CJ, Gomes and/or Uribe being in the line-up tonight.
