Is it bad when they are healthy or is it that there are too many negatives in the lineup? I feel like we have really talented players.
NL Average OPS is 700. That is around a 700 OPS based on your projections. I just don't know what it is honestly. It just seems the guys can never hit at the same time.
I completely agree that the lineup being changed around helps a lot. TLS not being at the top of the lineup is complete ignorance from Fredi. I'd almost move Freddie and Justin around:TLS needs to be in the two hole.
Heyward
TLS
J-Upt
Freeman
Gattis
Johnson
BJ
Simmons
Fair enough...I do agree that Wrens affinity towards power has really hurt the team because it comes at the expense of OBP. Guys like Gattis/Simmons are fine because they are at premium positions but these other guys not getting on base (BJ/CJ) are killing us.
Only partially. Wren's affinity towards slugs like Upton the Elder and Uggla creates a hole in the budget and line-up.
Move La Stella if you'd like. I'm not a huge believer in line-up construction making that much of a difference, but he's the only guy really hitting now.
I'm of the opinion that Simmons is going to be the most frustrating offensive player we will see in many a year. Good contact guy, but doesn't put the ball in play with that much authority. He's a glove guy, so he more than earns his keep, but the guy has rally killer written all over him.
Smh this team minus La Stella looks like they're ready to board the plane smh.
I can figure out who Santana is. He absolutely cruises and then gives up homers out of nowhere. I like him, but I don't trust him at all.
It's ****ing Colorado.
You know that I understand that. You act like this hasn't happened in Colorado alone. It's been this way the last 5+ starts or so.
