Where did Heyward get hit?
glove hand
it is probably swollen with a bad bruise.
very hard to break a knuckle bone.

You are right TheThe, his pitch recognition is getting better, he would have swung at 1 or 2 of those pitches last year. He is now laying off bad stuff and of course he has the green light anytime and he makes them pay for that.

Freddi's silly answer to why he won't hit TLS 2nd. Just switch JUp and Freddie!!
Yeah, this needs to happen. Have to get TLS up in the order soon enough.
I swear, Freddi is like a caveman when it comes to his innovation.

gattis appear to have much better pitch recognition. his d is back up to solid.
Why extend him? We have team control until he's like 32. We don't want a 32+ y/o Gattis.
The Braves seem to really value cost certainty. And the Braves seem to really think Arb money and overall salaries are going way up (only reason for CJ contract). So maybe you try to lock him up through his arb years + a team option.
When are Braves pitchers going to learn they can't throw it in the dirt with Gattis back there?
Its time to cut bait with Harang. Wood needs to be up as soon as he is ready.
