Shortstop is a position you should care more about defense, esp. when you have the best in the game there. Plus it isn't a given Albies will stick at short, some see him as more likely at second in the Majors.
 
No reason to call the best defensive player in the world off there.

Also, it's hilarious that our best start, well of all starters, was Wisler.

And I'm not trading Simmons now. It would be in a couple of years until we know more about Albies. I think Hart considers all options and it's a creative way to get a power hitter

We're done. Best we can hope for is Johnson can close some games making him more attractive as a trade piece
 
Maybin apparently called that ball too early, it would've been a tough play for Simmons but you don't call him off if you are not sure.
 
What a horrible ninth inning. Bloop hit loses it and it looks as though the Braves have lost their closer for a significant amount of time.

No kidding, when it rains it pours. Hope Grilli is okay but either way his injury probably cost us a nice return in a trade.
 
Can someone pay me to fly to Atlanta and beat the sh*t of Chris Johnson because I will? I assume the worst case on Grilli is torn achilles. It took Ryan Howard about 9 months to recover from that injury.
