7/11/15: GDT - Atlanta Braves @ Colorado Rockies

Return to play after an acute Achilles tendon rupture may take 6-9 months in an active, healthy young athlete. Of course, as with other serious sports related injuries, recovery may take longer, and there is no guarantee that performance will recover to the pre-injury level despite aggressive and conscientious management and rehabilitation.

Plus Grilli is 38 so coming back will be tougher if that is his injury. Hopefully it looked a lot worse than it is.

This has nothing to do with liking Simmons. My signature is in tribute to him. You can like a player and think it's a smart idea to trade them.

To be more accurate, you made a reactionary post on Simmons after his pop out. But the bottom line is it isn't easy to replace what Simmons brings on defense. He is that special.

I'm not expecting to replace him. I'm trying to figure out how to get a power hitter since our top prospect is a SS and is c9nsidered one of the best prospects in baseball.

Don't understand why the Rockies' mascot (Dinger) is allowed to be in the stands directly behind home plate when the Braves are pitching

What an awful last 2 hours this has been for me. Personal things aside, Grilli going down is about as bad as i could expect this already embarrassing series to go. Well, except if they walk off here.

OK, f*ck this team.

This was lost by piss poor effort and stupidity. Plain and simple. I can watch bad baseball when the team is trying. When they quit, I quit watching.
