Snitker should've just left Sam to in to finish the inning ala Collmenter when he gave up like 6 runs in an extra inning game. You'd think that would push AA further to make a move.

With the state of the pen, every little mistake by the manager in managing it gets magnified. Snit has made 2 tonight imo. Bringing Jackson in at a time when it was a 1 run game. And now burning up Venters. Which could potentially cost us tomorrow.

To be honest I think Moylan is worse than Jackson. They both suck though.

The Sam Freeman thing is really on AA. At some point he has to man up and tell Snitker that this is my club, he's underperforming, and to get him going, he's going to need a break at the very least for a few weeks. Put him on the DL and get Phillips back here.

If not, it's all on him.

To be honest I think Moylan is worse than Jackson. They both suck though.

Moylan hasn't been good this year. But he has a track record including two pretty good years recently with KC. With relievers the sample sizes are so small, it is worth taking into account what their track record in recent years has been.

I'd like to see Phillips be given another look.
