7/6 GDT: Atlanta Braves (40-43) vs. Washington Nationals (50-34); Freddie at 1B

A gift certificate to a local massage parlor so Kemp can get his hammy worked on.

Dario Alvarez (sp?) got us something last year. Is it impossible to imagine a lefty who throws 97 with a good slider and change could get us a solid piece? Not a stud but a solid position prospect.

The elephant laughs at your delay, Gnats

Nats bullpen must be absolute torture. I could see them collapsing if they don't make some decent trades. Not sure we will be able to take advantage of it though.

What changed from last year to this for camargo?

'16 at miss = .683 ops

'17 at Gwinnett = .853 ops

'17 at Atlanta = .745 ops

From '14-'16, camargo didn't ops over .700.

Is he likely to fall apart any day or is he a different player?

hint: check his BABIP numbers

The answer to all sustainability questions usually lies in whether or not a BABIP or HR rate is sustainable.

Players can change their batted ball profile, and they can change their selectivity at the plate. They can not change their BABIP or the HR rates as easily.

yeah...if there was a big drop in his strikeout rate I'd be more optimistic it was something sustainable
