I understand it's Coors, but holy crap. This entire team needs to grow up, they're playing way below their level. Folty went from having a terrific year to being straight garbage in three games. He's too talented for this, get a grip.

Hard to believe this is the same team that was turning heads sizzling, gettin to .500 (and got there). Some people were even thinking playoffs....

This just shows we got work to do. Big assignment. STARTING ROTATION. Just awful.

They did trade one of the better pieces the of rotation plus more. Much like the deadline trades in first year of rebuild it seems to have affected the team perhaps.

Psychology matters I think.

Either way no big deal. Trading pieces was right thing to do.

I don't understand this, but even when Kemp is sucking (which has been the norm of late), the offense still is much better with him in it. I know that doesn't make sense at all, but the offense is just horrid lately.

FF up until kemp injury... .329/.430/.671

FF since kemp injury... .290/.389/.468

Ops difference of .244 #protection

Correlation is not causation

Extend Kemp!

The difference he makes in the offense is obvious. Not sure it improves the team though bc of the negative defense. I do know the braves are much more fun to watch when he's out there though. This offense is putrid without him

Unless it supports what I am claiming!

Very similar to sample size in that regard.

Do you actually know how to prove causation by analyzing data? Just curious since you like to make claims like this, yet have displayed no real knowledge on the topic.

The offense was entirely different before Kemp hurt his hamstring. That injury was really limiting him at the plate. It's much easier to navigate this lineup without a healthy Kemp.

Fried's FA averaged 93.3 last night, almost exactly his 93.2 average the previous 2 games he pitched.

Didn't realize 0.1 was so insignificant. Guess FF (.320) and Swanson (.214) are hitting almost exactly the same... only ~ 0.1 difference.

Nevermind, don't wanna troll you today

Well, I think I might still have my textbook from Stat 101 from the fall of 1995 around somewhere. I remember having to look up numbers from the tables in the back. Had to use MACs for the projects which mean a fairly lengthy walk to the Mac computer lab. Irritating.

As I recall, I couldn't even get beer money from selling the book. Really beautiful girl with a lovely tan in that class though. go figure -- in stats class.

So since you have no idea what you're talking about, you should definitely keep piping up on related topics. Makes sense.
