But I was assured by the geniuses here that Inciarte would cover up Kemp's poor defense. So I am very confused right now.
 
In the games I've watched Kemp in lf, he looks about as bad and unsure of himself as I've seen in a long time.

Don't worry, Kemp's DRS is only -5 for us counting tonight. Just wait till we get him in shape and fix that hip condition with our fancy doctors. He'll make us shine in the new ballpark or we pay him to go away too.
 
Gonna be hard to close the gap in the nl east when the nats are bringing up guys like Lopez and turner esp considering the gap is huge now

Me too, if I were still a betting man and had a deal where I can make some real money on making such a bet I would do it in a heartbeat in his case. There's a number of reasons you didn't have contenders willing to take on the salary Atlanta did to get him. And there were a number of teams with weakness at DH in the AL too.

you need to shower after saying that.. gross.

Whalen has a bit of Tom G. in him. struggles through the first and then settles into a groove... I remember watch Tommy pitch and just hoping he could make it through the 1st without giving up more than 1 run. But to be fair, Whalen has pitched well so far... outside Kemp's boneheaded play which cost him extra pitches, he has done well.
 
Braves forgot their glasses tonight. For a team void of power, they should not K this much.. Lopez probably wishes he could pitch against us every 5th day.. just completely owning us again.
 
I'm a huge Andruw fan... My favorite brave ever. I've always thought of him as the best defensive cf I've ever seen, so I looked up his dWAR and compared it to ender and kiermaier.

Ender's best dWAR was 2.6 last year. Andruw only topped this number 4 times in his career. An interesting note is ender beat Andruw's dWAR in his second year.

Kiermaier was at 5.0 dWAR last season. Andruw never came close... 3.9 was Andruw's best. In only 67 games this year, kiermaier has a dWAR of 1.9, which is pretty remarkable.

So, does dWAR have it right here? Is ender close to Andruw and is kiermaier better?
