You know why the Miami Marlins aren't in further contention with the Wild Card spot? The Atlanta Braves (4-9 record vs. Atlanta).
Just in looking at Miami's data, they have rather strange splits. They are 6-1 vs. LAD, 6-1 vs. PIT, 4-3 vs. STL, and a decent 6-7 vs. WSH. They stink against Atlanta, NYM, and the AL.

The same can also be said for the Mets who are only 9-7 vs. the Braves this year. The Nats have taken care of business by being 14-2 vs. Atlanta.

I'm thinking Ender and Swanson with his Jeter-like approach will be doing good things for us next year at the top of the order
