You may want to look again. He was not SIGNIFICANTLY better. Marginally is a better word. That being said, Julio is forever in the doghouse but careful if you think Keuchel is light years ahead of JT. A slightly better version....possibly.

I honestly don't know which stat is best. Old school maybe. But ERA...close. WHIP -Julio was better 1.1 vs 1.3. Choose a stat...I guess you can call it was it is but he wasn't significantly better. That's my opinion.

Opinions based on meaningless data aren’t as useful as opinions based on meaningful data. Luckily for the Braves, the FO understands which data is meaningful.

A lot of folks are under the impression that the Braves just got some front line SP though, which certainly isn’t the case. Ignorant fans are easily impressed by names, as evidenced by how many want MadBum.

Well honestly, you provide some unique stats. Most of my posts consist of watching these prospects live so I haven't done much to dissect every stat. I respect them but I like to balance those as well. In this Era of analytics, I can say I love the Keuchel signing but he's a piece to me. Not the savior. I hope he is but we will see.

Thanks nsacpi....I wasn't going to post the stuff anymore but I know you and a few others appreciate it. I have a lot of pics and slow motion capture to post. Trey Harris is TP 2.0...just an example. Thethe is on another level...lol

He is a piece. Increased the Braves playoff odds by about 8%. No ace like his cy young year but hes a good pitcher. He is the 2nd best starter the Braves have pending folty figuring things out.
 
Funny that years of obsessing over pitching requires us to trade for a pitcher (Gausman) and sign one (DK) in our competitive year
