The Trump administration is sabotaging the Affordable Care Act by slashing money for promotion of the open enrollment period. They don’t want you to know this:
 
Here's the deal.

If people want health insurance, and can't figure out when to enroll, then they don't really want health insurance

Yup.

I mean its a 2 second google search, one phone call to an agent, or not have had eyes or ears for the passed 2 years. I'll wager its folks that don't care to know.

Got quotes for going through my employer today. Cheapest for me, my wife and son is over half my monthly take-home pay.

Over. Half.

I have only one individual market option.

I believe it was Lewis Black who once said we'd all be better off if they just came to our door and pissed on our feet.

I know your pain. The premiums make it difficult to put anything in savings, then actually getting care has to come out of savings. The past couple of years of health expenses wiped everything in my savings out.
 
Nothing will ever change until we completely re-evaluate the nature of actual medical pricing in this country.

I may have used this example before but when my son had a check-up one time, his pediatrician took a small tiny piece of ear wax out. Got a bill for $60 on that.
 
ACA apps are way up after the first few days ....

And 57 whined about pulling advertising dollars.
