Affordable Care Act

Every time... Every time I've presented you with cold hard data, you run away like a teenager.

cold hard data is - more people are getting care.

I value that more than money - we disagree.
Getting where everyone gets care without excess costs is a viable question.
An either or option gets us no where.

So
How do you propose getting everyone health care where the costs are manageable ?
I won't argue with you but would like to see what you envision.
Or see if you just stand on the street and shake your fist

Guessing the one part of ACA we mostly all agreed on was preexisting conditions.
But in the spirit of "keeping promises" the Trump Administration is acting hell bent on abolishing these protections
What a bunch of dicks

And now the Trump administration has been arguing in court to take away those protections and leave 130 million Americans hanging out to dry, faced with sharp, spiking insurance hikes or lost coverage altogether. It’s stunning cruelty for a huge part of the population. Worse, the Department of Justice lawyers are arguing against established law. It’s stunningly inappropriate. So much so that three DOJ lawyers resigned from the case rather than have their names attached. From legal experts Ian Samuel and Leah Litman at Take Care:

I think Alan Grayson nailed it years ago by saying " "If you get sick, America, the Republican health care plan is this: Die quickly,"

remember that quote about pre existing conditions when this hack says all lives matter and are precious

who did this to you ?

Pre existing coverage wasn't here before 2012 and we somehow managed to survive.

Now our costs skyrocket because we have to cover it.

But it makes no sense. I couldn't get fire insurance after my caught on fire. I couldn't get flood insurance after my house was flooded. I couldn't get car insurance after my car was crashed.

This isnt hard. Try thinking rationally rather than emotionally

all lives are precious but really you are just a car in the eyes of this schmuck

if only you were a fetus, he would care about your medical needs i guess

again, who did this to you ?

I honestly feel sorry for anyone arguing against insuring preexisting conditions.
Whatever the cost

Again... Try to leave emotions out of it.

I believe it was jpx who admitted to not getting insurance bc he knew he'd be covered via pre existing conditions coverage

That's not sustainable.

and yet you favor a death penalty for ones with genetic ddispositions to late life desease

You understand Parkinsons, Lou Gehrigs Disease and a roomful of others are considered preexisting condition and therefore would not be covered ?
Thee are many garden variety female diseases that are considered pre existing

What is the chance you, a sibling or this fiancee we hear about is afflicted.

It again goes back to, "everyone is a Libertarian until their house is 10 feet underwater "
That is the practical side of the argument

Then there is the moral ...

Willing to go out on a limb that you cheered at Sarah Palin talk of death panels

So your argument to me stop thinking rationally is to remind me that one of my family members will get sick and die

Y'all aren't emotional at all.

As a reminder, this policy was brought in 5 years ago... The problem with all entitlements is it is impossible to get rid of them bc of emotional leftists who can't think critically for 5 seconds

300,000 people in each Congressional district have a pre-existing condition.

Thursday Trump filed papers to end their guaranteed access to insurance.

Members of Congress who supported the tax cut set this in motion.

Their phones might start ringing.

This is every old-guy "well, we didn't wear seatbelts when I was a kid and we survived." Hell of a logical argument there.

I'm also not sure why wanting to see illness managed earlier, while it's cheaper, or even preventable, is cast as the irrational argument here.

diagnosis of any of these conditions insurance companies can again deny coverage
For instance, Alzheimers --- who knew
(R) telling these people to go **** themselves.

Quite a party y'all got there
