If you're happy about the way your taxes are being spent, why not offer up more? Is this the absolute max amount of taxes you're willing to pay? If the government raises taxes to help fund ObamaCare, is that OK? If it is, why not volunteer it today in the name of helping others?

Everyone is fine with high taxes as long as it's coming out of others' paychecks. Nothing is stopping you from giving more, but I assume you don't (and there's nothing wrong with that)

Your point is really silly when you consider the fact that the people who some want taxed at a higher rate are the ones who "volunteer" their money the least. They hide it in tax havens, they don't spend a proportionate amount of their income that others do/have to spend. It's hidden, tucked away, hence the pleas for higher tax rates for the ones who are actually sucking everything they can out of the economy and country.

Use it but don't pay for it vs don't use it but pay for others to use it. Which ones are taking without contributing ?

Once we have another President willing to risk his Presidency on health care reform and we do get to discussing legislation moving toward a single payer program -- what do you think it will look like?

You're simply delusional if you don't think the rich milk the teet and dodge to the max. People who don't make any money can't be taxed anything.
It's sad, the rich **** the middle class and the poor over, and some in the middle class defend the rich. It'd be comical if it wasn't sad. Keep defending them while they rob you blind.
 
But sturg saying if you don't mind taxes, you logically should be willing to pay more is just gold. Just the tops.

They're hoarding all the money. So logically...
And yes, with all the breaks they take, and all the money they have that isn't spent...it hurts the system. A lot. But, go ahead and defend them while they rob you blind.
