Yep. And who can you manipulate and control with a particular religion if not the adherents of said religion?
Oh, those people don't believe either. They are just following the "bad" people.

It's grasping at straws when you resort to reaching back into the archives to find a group that a) became nefarious in 2012 and b) practiced 'mysticism' to try to prove a weak point that all terrorism in Africa is somehow attached to religion.
How about all of the attacks which have occurred in the past 2 years?
It sounds to me like you need to educate yourself much more thoroughly on the current situation on the ground in Africa, especially as it relates to the rapid spread of fundamentalist Islam -- especially before calling the attack in Kenya 'tribal warfare', and then randomly blaming Christians, too.
You exposed your ass the moment you decided to choose that path in this discussion.
I could point to others. I picked a big one from "way back" in 2012.
While its worse now (because of Iran) than it was when Saddam was there I still believe that there was plenty of unchecked territory that Islam held a presence.
Islam held a presence. Islam holds a presence in the US. Islam took a hold in Iraq when we destabilized their central government and Al Qaeda stormed in to keep it destabilized.
And it's not because of Iran, you're so freaking wrong. Look at what Iran is, here's a hint, Persian and Shia, while the Islam insurgents in Iraq are Arab and Sunni. THen again, you probably think all of Islam is exactly the same. So what's the point.
"The death toll is the highest in a terror attack on Kenyan soil since the U.S. Embassy was bombed in 1998."
That's how far you have to go back to find one of this magnitude.
I could point to others. I picked a big one from "way back" in 2012. He're a hint, that's not that long ago, they're still around as well. Not as powerful as they used to be of course. They're a fundamentalist christian terror group. You can choose to deny that if you want. But it's part of how they recruit/justify.
And it has a **** ton to do with old tribal battles. It's not the only reason of course. But it's a big one. Much bigger than Islam vs Christianity.
In one country, in one attack. Ok congrats?
LRA insurgency has killed 65,000+ not counting other casualties including child sex trafficking and more.
If you don't think that Iran played a HUGE role with destabilizing Iraq then you are hopeless.
The link between Kony and mainstream Christianity is tenuous, at best.

This is just currently. If they truly wanted IS to be defeated then why would they meddle? Ultimately, the West is the biggest enemy despite how they feel about each other.
same problem throughout the world
religious and right wing people hate education
the right wings fear of Iran is some the craziest **** ever
you would think they were a super power the likes of Russia or a modern day Rome the way they are built up in this country
Link between ISIL and mainstream Islam is tenuous, at best.
Uh, wrong thread champ.
