Maybe he was high and wasn't thinking straight... regardless, movement should not be justification for murder.

Um, we have meth heads here. They taze then shoot, but not to kill, maim as they say. I will grant you that. Oklahoma does not have laws like that.

A terrible policy by police of shoot to kill even if unarmed.

i am always amazed the amount of excuses the same 2nd amendment loving people will give for cops that kill citizens.

You defender or cops actions. Yes they can learn to shoot to maim and not kill but it up to their discretion.

BUT WHAT PART OF DON'T MOVE HANDS UP is going to resonate on people who have done bad things. IN most cases with more WHITES than black learn the hard way and find themselves in a pine box.

Keith Scott was carrying a stolen gun when he was shot and killed during a confrontation with police in Charlotte, North Carolina, authorities have said.

The gun was reported stolen after a breaking and entering, according to the police.

A breaking and entering suspect told agents at the bureau of alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives that he had sold the gun to Scott, ABC 11 reported Monday. He is now in custody.

Scott's wife Rakeyia, who filmed her husband's killing on Tuesday, had filed for a restraining order against him and had told authorities he carried a gun, hit her as well as one of her children and had threatened to kill her, records have shown.

Seems like he was a Nice guy.

Personally, as a white dude, what you are describing sounds absurd to me. Obviously, you should comply with cops, but the idea any non-compliance = immediate death is outrageous.

The fact that this appears rational to you seems like a good demonstration that the the black and white experience re: cops isn't exactly the same.

No charges will be placed against the officer. I wish the right information was put out from the start and we wouldn't have had to deal with protests in Charlotte.

It was too close to the election for the truth to come out. The left needed this as ammunition (no pun intended) to push their claims of racism.
