Around Baseball

LOL, 19,22, same difference.

The Dodgers just got throttled, embarrassed, pounded, pummeled, punked, pwned, demolished, destroyed, schooled (for Magic), brought down to size, beat really bad, shelled, steam-rolled, kicked all over the field and had the life sucked out of them by a skinny, soft tossing pothead. And at home!!!

That home field advantage isn't looking so big for them right now.

It still just counts as one game and one loss for the Dodgers. I much rather the Giants beat them by a closer score personally. If I were still a betting man, then I'd put money on the Dodgers tomorrow. I expect that they'll respond tomorrow to take the series. That's usually what good teams do after such an embarrassing game.

Padres are helping us out so far tonight. Cards losing early and the Dodgers have yet to start. Would be nice to gain a half a game on the Central leaders tonight.

Wladimir Balentien (former Seattle Mariner) broke the homerun-record in Japan!

He hits homer No. 56 and 57 and brokes the around 50 years old record.

Another guy who had no chance in the MLB and is now on fire outside the US!

Saw that. Apperently Japan officials admitted to using a livelier ball, which has resulted in more homeruns. Dude also missed the first 12 games of the season.

Hard to believe what Japanese officials say about anything. So now they finally admit to lying about the ball.

Btw, Andruw Jones leads all of Japan in strikeouts - 137. Very few players have over 100. He's also hit 23 HRs and 73 RBI. Been HBP 14 times, an incredibly high number, but they like to throw at former major leaguers.

After their big defeat at home they lost the next game 3-4, and then 1-2 today. Like the Braves, not showing us much lately.

Wonder if they admit using the livelier ball in order to let Saderhuh Oh "Save Face"

What to do on a clean single up the middle....

It's almost like baseball teams don't win every game, and sometimes go on hot and cold streaks that balance out over the course of a season. Strange!
