Around the League: 2017 offseason edition / 2018 Season

Miguel Sano was sent down to single A by the Twins as well. They aren't completely out of the AL Central race.

Sano appears intent on eating his way out of the league. Twins' players are now probably happy that they will at least get something off the post-game spread.

Saw an article today out of Baltimore about Chris Davis. He is pacing the worst season statistically in history....so much so that they benched him indefinitely.

AVG. .150
HR: 4
RBI: 15
OBP: .227

Signed a 7 year / $161m contract after the 2015 season. Still has 4 years and $92m left on the deal, AFTER this season. AAV of around $23m, he is an absolute albatross to that team...

Makes me feel better about the BJ Upton deal!

Read that a few days ago. Simply brutal

And Acuna and Inciarte are 5 and 6 for OFers.

I'm guessing there is some early voting weirdness going on that is benefiting Braves players somehow.

Being in 1st helps. Braves still have a large fan base across the country. I suspect all 3 of them get voted into the game. Albies might not if he continues to struggle but that homerun total still looks sexy.
