I want the DH but expanded playoffs are ****ing terrible. Makes the regular season just about freaking meaningless.

Reduce the regular season back down to 154 games, eliminate inter league play, expand the playoffs, put in the DH. Everybody should be happy.

Same. Terrible idea. If they do want extended playoffs they need to shorten the regular season... which we know they won't do.
8 less game checks for everyone in the league that isn't a DH for the owners to be able to pocket millions more.
No clue why that won't be unanimously approved.

ESPN story on Simmons and how he was battling depression last year, which ultimately forced him to opt out at the end of the season. Sad to know that he got that low, but very happy to see that sought out help. I hope he continues to recover and be well mentally. He's probably my favorite Brave since Smoltz retired, even higher than Chipper. I just loved watching him play. I honestly hope we can have a reunion with him in a couple years if we move on from Dansby.

The Mets are the bigger potential threat because we have to play them 19 times. The Dodgers, who knows? They may get knocked out in the LDS. It can happen easily in baseball.
